how does selling a car here works out?

Question type: Car Selling & Trading In

I have my car listed here on CarGurus and I like to know how does the sale
work out. I mean, say I accept an offer, then what? should the buyer come take
delivery of the car, or do I take the car to a dealer to ship to the buyer upon
receiving the funds? and what safety precautions are there for the buyer and
seller?

how ever you want to do it.if you deliver it>distance< charge more....when he pays you.and the title is signed over, give him the car .at your place is the best. also note the time of the sale.

I checked with the bank, and payment will have to be made to the bank for them to send the title so that I can sign it over to the buyer. I guess there would have to be a sales contract for the buyer to payoff the car with the bank to get the title. And what if the buyer is also financing it, who I do sign the title for? what support does CarGurus offer in a situation like this?

Thanks... when I bought the car, the dealer got me financing thru their bank that does not have local branch which adds to the challenge... but I will ask at my bank if they can help ... maybe refinance it for a month so they do the sale in-house. Thanks again
