My 1987 Chevy celebrity can't do highway anymore, bogs as 60MPH has trouble going up hill. eats up gas

Didn't know id have a details section lol. well like i said it bogs and kicks at
60mph and higher. has a lot of trouble up hill and eats up gas. has new coil
packs along with new spark plug and wires. just replaced the fuel filter thinking
that was it but it didnt help much.

Bogging sounds like a plugged up catalytic converter.

Mine was doing the same thing. Thought It was the Cadillac converter took it off still did it think I tracked it down to the control module for the core pack I also change the plugs and wires on mine which they are hard to get to on the back of the motor block
