Leaking coolant

My car has been having problems with
over heating and some how loosing
coolant. I've replaced the cap recently
have been watching the levels of
everything. Recently I stopped my car and
noticed steam coming from under the
hood to find coolant over some of my
engine, and driping onto the ground. I
checked the oil and it's not cloudy (trying
to rule out a head gasket leak), but not too
sure what else to check. Any suggestions ?
