i bought a 2004 chev optra 5 and i like it but sometimes it will not start on first try, it spits and backfires so i let it sit a few minutes then after a few tries it starts. anyone else have this

i bought a 2004 Chev  Optra 5 and i like it but sometimes it will not start on
first try, it spits and backfires  so i let it sit a few minutes then after a few tries it

I WOULD FIRST REPLACE THE FUEL FILTER...

fuel filter is a lifetime filter in tank. once car starts no problem driving all day and lots of power.

COULD STILL BE A PRESSURE PROBLEM,,OK ...ADD 1 BOTTLE OF ZMAX FUEL TREATMENT TO 1/2 TANK AND DRIVE IT...CHECK BACK...
