valve cover bolts, thread pitch and depth

I have a 96 Isuzu Hombre, guy was doing work and stopped left valve cover off and do not have bolts to go with,
need to find some and went to auto part store to find replacement but he said i need thread pitch and depth to give
him something to go on

Yeah, the ignoramus at the parts store is not willing to put out any effort to help you. He could look it up in his computer, that is if he can read. Try another parts place. They are probably 8mm head, about 25mm long, something along those lines. You will get the right bolts, all you have to do is find a parts store that has somebody that graduated 4th grade.
