What would cause my 4-wheel drive to kick into neutral when i reach a speed of 20 mph or higher

my 1998 Isuzu trooper kicks out of 4- wheel drive while im driving down the road if I reach any speed over 20 miles per hour what should I look for

there is a spring that pulls the shift lever to the left. This is all that holds the Trooper in 4WD. If that spring is missing it wount stay in 4WD. This happend to me now I have to fix the hubs on my beast.

sometimes makes a fonny movement, I think is coming from the drive shaves{ four wheel drive},but I check them up and they look OK
