Brakes lost grip after rustproofing

I got an anti-rust spray under my new 2017 Camry yesterday. The guy just
sprayed under the car, without taking off the wheels or covering the rotors.
Since then, there is a loud thud when I apply the brakes, and the brakes
have lost their grip, increasing the stopping distance. The pedal travels
farther down and does not feel as tight and responsive as before.
Is it the anti-rust coating that is sticking to the rotors/pads? Will a brake
service and cleanup help?

Yes, but if that crap saturated the brake pad it will never stop the way it use to. They are liable if you get into an accident. I would demand new brake pads be put on along with cleaning up the rotors.
This is a major safety issue. Do what Rowe says before driving the car anymore!
Thanks guys, appreciate your help. I'll have to take it to the dealer or a certified mechanic (that guy was just an oil changer). So that I can have a proper assessment and repair and send him the bill later.
Also, will the calipers need to be cleaned up? I guess that would be part of the pad replacement job?
The calipers them selves would be OK. They would clean off the mounting surfaces and such, what ever would need cleaning.
