gear stick will not go into gear. it sticks and is very difficult to move

I coudnt get mine out of park without forcing it. While I had it up on the stands changing the oil I adjusted the bolt on the bottom of the shift stick. Its on the left side of the transmission and easy to check your adjustment by moving through the gear positions and making sure there is no sticky areas.
