99 trooper - won't go into gear

Asked by isuzukids Feb 25, 2010 at 11:44 PM about the 1999 Isuzu Trooper 4 Dr S 4WD SUV

son in law changed oil - military in ft. knox tyring to save some money - and now he says it will not engage in any gear. no indicator lights on and trooper ran absolutly perfect until oil change. what could he have knocked off or done?  no tranny slippage or any probs before this. Please help as I can not get out there to figure it out!

Your SIL drained the tranmission fluid! Easy to do on this model.
