Computer configurations for bigger wheels

Asked by Feb 24, 2017 at 01:53 AM about the 2017 Honda Accord EX-L V6 with Navi and Honda Sensing

Question type: Car Customization

Is there; or should I get the computer configured for
20" x 8.5 up front, and 20"x 10 on the back wheels
on my 2017 Honda Accord ex-l V6? I did it in my 06
Silverado but then again that's a Chevy..

Only if the diameter of your new wheels are larger or smaller than the stock diameter. Usually larger wheels use low profile tires so the diameter is not that far off. You can do a mileage check on the freeway, 60 mph is 1 mile in 60 seconds, give or take 2 seconds, if it is within that range then recalibration is not needed. I had to recalibrate my GMC when I went with 18's cause I als went with bigger tires.
