1999 Isuzu Rodeo Left Turn Signal freezes on when hitting brake - Uhaul trailer kit installed.

I have a 1999 Isuzu Rodeo, bought it 3 years ago with a U-haul hitch and harness installed.   Have noticed headlights and dash lights dimming then brightening when I come to a stop light.   Do not see it so much driving.  Autozone tested it and said bad battery - changed battery this cycling of light intensity greatly diminished.   Autozone says alternator is fine.   Yesterday right before getting battery - left turn signal works until I hit brake, then it freezes on.   Let off brake and it works.   I took apart light assembly -- pins look clean no scoring or melting.   no wires seem frayed or shorted (including u-haul).   Any ideas what this is?

could be a bad grond on your trialer light hook up so it is back feeding on you. Make sure you check and clean the ground wires
