My 2000 Isuzu won't shift out of second
gear and was wondering if there was a way
to fix without rebuilding the transmission

replace shift solenoids in the transmissions valve body, drain transmission, remove transmission pan, remove valve body, the solenoids have roll pins you have to " Drift" slide out, you can you tube this whole procedure. I done this to a Isuzu for $150 then sold it for $1800 spent just a little over $150 to repair it.
