oil in my water... car's never overheated, but

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

oil in my water... car's never overheated, but has been smoking lately from underneath my alternator, behind my belts.. kind of near my timing belt cover. The hose isn't leaking water onto exhaust causing the smoke. I recently had my thermostat, intake gasket, head gasket, timing cover gasket, water pump/ and gasket, all replaced to try to sort out the problem, but its still smoking. And water is still getting into my oil.the block was fine, nothing warped or cracked. No pulleys locked up.. no water leaking onto exhaust.. What could be causing my car to smoke so badly from this location? Or water to still be getting into my oil.its worth mentioning that i check my coolant levels often. Sometimes there's very little in the reservoir and other times only a little bit has disappeared. No obvious leaks found on ground.

If you have a 3.8 V6 you can take T.S.'s word for it. There was a recall but I think it has expired.
