The Cruze is notorious for check engine light coming on. Autozone pulled the code on mine and said it was the mass air flow sensor but it turned out to be the purge solenoid valve. You’re warranty will cover whatever sensor it is. I have a 2015 and I have had the purge solenoid valve go back, cracked housing for thermostat, blown head gasket, bad water pump. All within 4 months. Still losing coolant. I would suggest getting rid of your Cruze ASAP. I will be before my warranty is expired in a year.
