Key in ignition battery dead

Left the key in ignition overnight and truck won’t start.. i
had a friend try to help jump start but still nothing?

I purchased a 100Amp portable engine starter at SAMS Club for $69, keep it in the back of my vehicle, and recharge that unit every month, it has helped me out of some problems with my battery. I will be resetting my radio unit, since I have played with it, just to see if it may have something to do with it.
