Car shuts down

Asked by Katiekole98 Sep 17, 2019 at 08:51 PM about the 2017 Hyundai Elantra LE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Sometimes when I come to a stop my car will just shut
down but not fully. I have to restart the car to be able to
accelerate. I've taken it to the Hyundai house but they keep
saying they fixed the problem but they don't. It just keeps
doing the same thing. I am not sure what to do. What could
be wrong with my car. It only has 26,000 miles

It seems like you should be covered under warranty. It's the dealership's job to make the car right, especially for only having 26K miles on it. Take it up the chain until someone there responds to your complaint.

Hi! Did you ever get an answer to this question?? My Elantra does the same thing and is not covered by the warranty anymore.
