2017 C300 trunk will not open without keyfob

Question type: General

I have a 2017 C300 and the trunk will not open unless I use the keyfob or
from inside the car.  There is no keylock to manually open with a key, and
there is nothing to push/pull on the trunk itself to open it.  The doors are
keyless but not the trunk? It does not work like a BMW with placing a short
kick under the bumper?  How does one open the trunk without a keyfob?

key tumbled above liscence plate, next to handle. Put key in, turn, and open. Fob should have a removable key inside.

Thank you for answering Kr but there is no key tumbler above the licence plate to add a key. That's the problem. No means to open the trunk unless you have the keyfob.
