i changed the fuel pump on a 2000 ford taurus, and the car won't start. I changed the battery because it was bad, when i put the new battery in the car woun't even crank. it's flashing theft

if the theft light is flashing the vehicle doesnt recognize the key your using to crank it. you are either using an un-programmed key or the vehicle for some reason lost the keys it knew. you will have to get it towed to a dealer and have the keys programmed to it again you need a minimum of two keys
