I recently instaled a transmission couldn't aford to
have it done but i paid a shop to rebuild it, now the
transmission won't go into any gear and will wine
when i go to put it back in park, i filled it up the
dipstick showing the right amount  if anyone can
help me diagnose what's going on i would greatly
appreciate the knowledge

It reads like you are saying they rebuilt the tranny, but you installed it yourself? Is torque converter filled with ATF?

Yea thats how it went down but no i didn't a mechanic buddy said cycling through the gears would fill it up but i honesty think i should have. Would that be the problem

Did you put in a new , or rebuilt torque converter ? Did you make sure the converter was fully seated into the front pump as to make sure you did not damage the front pump or the torque converter Did you fill the converter with fluid ( your buddie isn't to sharp ) It's more than likely the installers screwed up not the rebuilder
