1990 C1500 Cheyenne sudden and complete loss of power while driving

I have a 1990 1500 Cheyenne 5.7 TBI. While driving today my speedometer
began fluctuating wildly ( it has had this issue intermittently before this ) and
completely lost power while going down the road. Now the truck is
completely dead even when using jumper cables and for some reason my
speedometer while the truck is sitting there is showing 45 mph. I have
checked my fuse box and fuses are good. Battery and alternator are both
less than a year old. I removed my ecm opened it up and found no damage.
Negative battery terminal is also new. What else could cause this issue?

Found the problem. I had the motor replaced about a year ago. The damn ding bats that put the motor in got the positive power cable wedged between the exhaust manifold and the body. The fused link wire that runs from the battery to the junction box chaffed through and eventually broke. Took care of that and now everything is good to go.
