1996 G20 stalls in the morning

Asked by David May 29, 2010 at 09:32 AM about the 1996 INFINITI G20 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi all ~new here.  We bought this great car in April2010 ,,even with over 200K it had a good bill of health right after purchase.   Now in the morning it needs warm up time or it will stall when put into drive. My immediate thought would be to replace the plugs and wires. Any suggestions? Is replacing the plugs a monumental task in itself?  Maybe fuel injectors?? I'm sure this topic has been discussed here before..please bear with me...im a newbie. Thanks all and enjoy the Memorial weekend! God Bless our troops~ home and abroad!

I had the same problem with my car. Had changed the spark plugs. Which is very, very easy. Now, my car runs like a Rolex.

hey great Ku' thanks for the reply!!! With today being December 19th, Ill say that the stalling did not turn out to be as chronic as i thought it would be these past 6 months. I WILL change the plugs based on what you said here though,,sooner than later. Thanks again and have a great Xmas holiday
