Why do I have to hold the gas to the floor on 97 Infiniti qx4

Sometimes it starts up fine, sometimes i have to hold the gas pedal to
the floor to get it to start. I replaced the fuel filter on my 97 Infiniti qx4.

engine is loading up with fuel, as flooded, leak down at injectors, or maybe just one injector leaking fuel while sitting after a drive. or pump check valve is letting the fuel to return to tank, a few key on, no crank will load the line up and if starts quick after that its a fuel flowback
