Oil Issues

Asked by XxSHAGGY56Xx Mar 14, 2017 at 05:29 PM about the 1993 Chevrolet C/K 1500 WT LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 93 Chevy Cheyenne. When I crank the
truck the oil pressure is up (between 40 and 50)
but the minute I out it into gear the pressure drops
to 0. I checked the oil before I ran it and it was full(I
had just changed it a few weeks before and had
only driven it about 15 or so miles). When I got
back from a little mile long drive I checked the oil
again and it showed that it was empty. Not sure
why it's doing that. Any ideas??

Either it has leaked out, or your burning it out the exhaust. If the exhaust is like blue, then it is burning the oil. Worn out engine.
