Trans won't shift to high or overdrive

My truck won't shift into high gear or
overdrive. It's a 1993 Chev pick up. 4x4.
The Trans is a 64ld.

Check the fluid level to be sure it is full. Also check the vacuum hose that goes to the trans modulator. Shifting is controlled by vacuum and if the hose is cracked (not getting vacuum), the trans will not shift. Can you manually upshift using the gear selector (start in L or 1, shift to 2, then D)?

No it still won't shift into drive or OD..
