Would a motor from a 1992 GMC 1500 truck fit inside a 1994 1500 Silverado

My mechanic says the 92 GMC transmission wont
connect to the 1994 Chevy Silverado the plugs
different?

Yes the transmission plugins are different, but you should be able to use the engine, just may have to swap a few parts over.
