Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was driving to work this morning..turned
the corner and my truck died...thinking
maybe low on gas..put gas in it...primed the
carburetor..won't start...fuel pump is coming
on...it's getting spark...

Could be your timing chain/belt.... did you hear any rattling when you would start the car in the mornings?

no...i think its the idle control sensor...i unscrewed and it broke in pieces...I'm getting one tomorrow..I also cleaned my distributor cap...the check engine light would come on when I would idle for about 3-6 minutes...it was not running rough or anything...so I'm really hoping its that srnsor

it broke when I took it out...it fell to pieces...even the 4 pronged connector

also ..I bought a a new battery but it's 9 volts I'm changing the plugs and wires..but the back spark plug broke...I can't put the socket in it...it won't fit
