96 Cheverolet Silverado K1500 with 5.7L won't start after replacing intake manifold gasket

It all started with a misfire and I parked it for a month before trying to fix it
started it up and had a fuel line leak I fixed that then started it up and had a
water leak so I replaced the intake manifold gasket now I marked the
distributor and rotor button but when I went to put it back I had lost one of the
marks on the distributor but I had a good idea where it was and after putting
it back in the 2 marks on the rotor lined up so when I got it back together and
tried to start it it turned over really good but then sounded like something
stopped it abruptly like a slam I found out because it sat so long thast the
battery was weak so I've charged it full but now I'm afraid to try and start it
since hearing that sound, does anybody have a clue

from what I know the computer sets the timing , if you do it manually it throws the cam and crank sensors off , the rotor will rotate when the gear meets the cam , you may need a technician or some more research on the problem

Take all the spark plugs out and turn the motor over to get all the gas off the Pistons
