air conditioner won't stay charged

96 chevy c1500 truck new ac kit has been recharged 4 times in 4 months. 2
mechanics have not found leak.

Likely it is the evaporator, but the leak needs to be found. Try another mechanic.

I had a new ac kit installed by 1st mechanic and he recharged and when it went bad again he used the t with no luck. 2nd mechanic recharged again and found no leak, then when it stopped blowing cold again he recharged and it worked for 1 day. He does not want to see it again! 4 recharges in 4 months and it presently is not working. I will follow up with an ac shop and ask about an evaporator.
