Cranks but Will not start.
So is it because there is no spark? Or no fuel pressure? Both would need to be checked to see where to look for a problem. Fuel pressure should be 56 to 63 lbs. and check for spark threw one of the plug wires.
can you here the fuel pump turn on? miles of vehicle is very important. have you changed fuel filters? crank sensors? if you want to test to hear fuel pump? first go under hood, release the fuel pressure on fuel line, then go into car and turn ignition on but do not start. it must be quiet or have someone lay down by tank and listen for fuel pump to cycle. if fuel pump turns on we go to next check.
I have the same problem we have changed everythin run for a day then dies
My 98 had the same problem. Changing things made it run a few times. New fuel pump fixed it. If you can't remember when you last replaced it, it probably is the problem.
