Why does my car have such a rough idle when I start it up and sometimes stall? (Only when it comes to a stop) when its driving its ttotally fine!

Hi guys, I have a 1998 Infiniti Q45 I just
bought with 167k miles, the V8 engine runs
like a champ but everytime I come to a stop
at red light or stop sign it has a rough idle
and then sometimes stalls why

Starts right back or do you have to wait a few minutes before it starts again ?

Thanks for responding guys! But yes it cranks right back up! Where is the idle control located? And can it be fixed or do I have to change the whole thing?
