CHEVY C-10 WONT START

Asked by spikesforu Jul 28, 2016 at 04:58 PM about the 1985 Chevrolet C/K 10 RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1995 Chevy C-10 that wont start. It first started about a year ago
when turning on the truck I would have to play around with the ignition key
cylinder, in the on position, to find the point that would turn the truck on. As
time when on it got harder and harder till I not able to find the point where I
could turn on the truck. So I changed the Ignition cylinder but that did not
do anything. I read somewhere online to change the ignition switch, which I
did, but that did not work either. Someone suggested to change the started
which I did but no luck. The battery is new so that can't be it. Is their
something I missing?

If it is an automatic could a bad nuteral switch or just needs to be adjusted or replaced. Try putting vehicle in nuteral and try to start.
