G35 coupe 2003. So many problems don't know where to start

Asked by GuruY75FM Apr 05, 2018 at 04:40 PM about the 2003 INFINITI G35 Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Beginning of march my Infiniti g35 2003 coupe RWD
started shaking. Took it to autozone, they said I need
more oil. I put 2 containers of 100% synthetic oil 10w40.
About 3 weeks later , I'm on the highway and the
acceleration was delayed. After about 5-10 min, all the
lights on the dashboard came up and the car shut down. I
pulled over and shut the car off and it took about 2-3 min
to get the car running again. Everything was
COMPLETELY fine like nothing happened until we were
driving for about not even 5 minutes then a knocking
sound started coming from the engine. I got to my
destination, a mechanic happened to be passing by and
told me that I had absolutely no oil. So I went and put 3
more containers that day. Next day car stalled twice. With
oil. The day after that the car stalled, didn't turn back on
and had no oil. I put in another 2 containers of oil. Car still
didn't start. It had to be jumped, finally turned on. This
past Saturday a mechanic said to drive the car up to him,
the car didn't even make it one block before shutting off.
Hasn't turned on since. Tried jumping it nothing works.
When you put the key in the ignition the lights on the dash
board come on, but no alarms no radio windows won't go
up or down etc.

I was told to check the pistons ...the alternater..etc.

Has anyone have the slightest clue to what could be the
issue bc I've spoken to two mechanics who wasted my
time

The engine is done!!! say your goodbyes, get a different engine or try to sell the car.

cam sensors would not account for the massive oil loss..

I would say its more like the Oil Galley Gasket and that would make cjsras's answer correct it can be fixed parts not the problem, labor will kill you though unless you can do the job yourself.
