Clutch pedal only comes up an inch and it is engaged. It's hard to get the shifter into gear

Asked by Benjamess Jan 21, 2015 at 07:31 PM about the 2000 Ford Ranger XLT Extended Cab 4WD SB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just had the slave cylinder replaced but honestly don't know if the guy knew what he was
doing. He said it was very hard to bleed the slave cylinder . and that if I have a problem
pump the clutch pedal and he would bleed it again.
