you won't drain the toque converter anyways , is there a problem with the tranny ? is the fluid nice and pink or does it smell burnt ? Do a search for your vehicle all kinds of info will come up

A local auto parts store like O'reillys or similar can tell you the approximate drain and refill quantity. The transmission will retain about half of its fluid when removing the pan and draining it. If this vehicle is one that does not have a transmission dipstick then there are specific procedures to draining and refilling so that the proper fluid level is achieved. One way to cheat this is to measure the amount of fluid drained and put the same amount back in. Total fluid capacity may be listed in the owners manual if you have one.
