why wont my truck crank up?

i own a 99 chevy tahoe Z71. it stopped in the middle of me driving. it appears
to be getting fuel. my fuel pump still kicks on, fuel is coming out of my injectors
when i push it, so no air in the line, it just turns like it wants to crank but wont. i
was told it may be my distributor.

Yes, indeed it is a distinctive sound, the arc. SNAP! And bright cobalt blue. If it's a yellow-color, not so good. And a 2000 has a distributor? Are you sure? I am Not a GM guy, so that is a question not a statement
