Sounds like a good deal but you need to do some research. Classic cars and their value are difficult to validate. It takes lots of research and depends on the condition of the car and it's accessories. Check Hemmings and other site for comparable cars for sale. Really up to you if it is worth it.

Good find but do your homework. Check things like registration and titling to make sure the VIN's match and it is not a salvage title. Validate that the engine and trans are the originals. Look for interior rust or signs of body damage covered by bondo. If it is a one owner car, have them show you their purchase documents and repair records. Run a carfax report. Other things will probably come to you but these are a starting point. Good luck and I hope it is what it is being presented as.
