how do you disengage the 4 wheel drive on a 2001 ford ranger?

the front wheel drive will not disengage, is therte anything I can do to get back to 2 wheel drive . I put it in neutal but it will not change drives.

You have to stop feet on brake and clutch put in 4 high then 2 wheel

Make sure your servo oter on transfer case is working or p Lastic gear is not broke the select diagram will be seen if you take the little moter off 10mm wrench 3 bolts leave wire connected and see if working from knob on dash with key on not running chake the wheels no accidentally roll over you
