Asked by Azar Dec 31, 2018 at 03:11 PM about the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just brought my 2015 Santa fe sport to dealer for
a KSDS software upgrade. Software would not
upload so they coded it in by hand. Now car won't
start and I'm car less for the next 2 days until they
can contact Hyundai on Jan 2. I hope they sort out
this mess. Has anyone had a similar problem and
how was it resolved?? Thanx

Update. The computer is toast . they are going to replace it with a new unit. I hope this does not affect my cars future performance. I have less than 20k miles on my car

I took my new 2018 Sonata SE in with 3,564 miles for its first oil change, they also did the computer software update. I didn’t even make it 5 miles and it went into “Limp Mode” now my brand new car sits at the dealership going into the second week waiting for a new wiring harness that is on backorder. A brand new car rendered inoperable.....thanks Hyundai for the software update!!!
