Drivers seat manual height adjustment on my 2014 Santa Fe Sport

My grandson stepped on the handle for the manual height adjustment on my
2014 Santa Fe Sport The handle is stuck down how do I release it to come
back to the normal position?

He may have bent or broken something. You may have to remove the seat to repair the damage.
