Beeping while engine off

Asked by Elise Feb 28, 2018 at 06:03 PM about the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has been making an extended beeping
sound randomly. It sounds like when the car is on
but the key fob is not inside. Sound occurs when
car is off. Car has been locking/unlocking once
parked as well. Does my key fob need a new
battery?

sounds like a faulty door lock actuator, see if you can tell which door is locking/and unlocking on it's own.

It’s the drivers side. How would I fix this?

Your car battery is on it's way out. Circuitry is telling you there is not enough amperage in your battery:-)

I was in a car accident last night and now When I lock my door with the remote the light flash to tell the car is lock but not beep sound to really tell me the car is lock ... can any thing happen after someone hit you on the back passenger side in the back end
