Ranger won't stay running

I can just the truck with jumper cables but as soon as I
take them off it dies, new battery and alternator, had them
checked at autozone they are good

Your making a circuit threw the other vehicle to make yours run. Clean your battery cables, and the ground wire on both ends. If your battery is shorted out, it will shut down also.
