Upper oil pan

I'm removing the upper oil pan on a 2002 Mazda
Protege with a manual transmission now I know
what the automatic transmission it says to remove
the two rubber caps at the bottom to get to the two
bolts that hold the upper to the block what about a
manual transmission how do I get to bolts
