My car has recently starting making a
popping/clicking noise when I drive slow. Noise
seems to go away after I hit 30 mph. It sounds a bit
like popping popcorn. Hard to tell where it's coming
from but I know it's from the front end of my car.
Car recently got a tune-up. Nothing was seemingly
wrong.. but of course it stopped making the noise
the second it got to a shop so the mechanic
couldn't hear it and then oise came back two days
later. It doesn't have to do with my steering, turning,
or brakes. It doesn't get worse with any of those
actions. It just happens when I am driving slow. Any
Popping, clicking comes from the front axle CV-Joint. Look for torn boots, check the CV-Joints.
My Mazda Cx 9 is doing the same thing did you ever conclude the problem?
I have a 2007 and I replace the Axles and I still hear it I all so replace the Link, and struts and control arm and I still hear it
