I just purchased a new 2016 Mazda CX-5. Since it's already Feb 9 should I buy snow tires now or wait till the fall? I live in Toronto.

Question type: General

Is it ok to just use the tires I get for the rest of the winter?

If you are getting around ok now you can wait to get the tires. Are these tires put on seasonally? If they are then it wouldn't matter.

Check the tires you have now. If there is a M&S (mud and snow) rating then you should be good. For really bad snow and ice a dedicated snow tire from Finland is a good idea but only run them in the winter.
