Engine swap

Asked by Payday711 Jul 03, 2019 at 01:28 PM about the 2000 Ford Mustang GT Coupe RWD

Question type: Car Customization

Do I have to swap anything off the harness of my
94 Mustang GT 5.0 to put in my 2000 gt which is a
4.6 or should I just be able to swap engines?????
Any asap advice would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks

Not gonna work! First of all the older engine is OBD1 and your car is OBD2 which means the ECU's are totally different. If you swap over everything and get it to run the car won't be smog legal.
