Advice please! I have a charcoal 2000 Mustang V-6 automatic. I've had this car for 9 years and have treated it wonderfully; however, transmission has gone out and I'm not sure if repair is worth it.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

200,000 miles- interior & exterior
great condition- good tires-
replacing transmission will cost 2g's
and kbb value is around the same.
How can I make the best of this
situation? Junk it for parts? Trade for
something? Repair? Any advice is
appreciated. Thanks.

If you're mechanically inclined you can save a ton of money with a wrecking yard transmission and replace it yourself.
