Hesitation on acceleration

Asked by rgttech Jan 11, 2017 at 09:54 AM about the 1995 Hyundai Accent L 2-Door Hatchback FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1995 Hyundai Accent (manual transmission) with just over 80,000
miles on it. On acceleration, it some times hesitates and basically falls flat
on it's face. I have to take my foot off the accelerator and accelerate again.
This doesn't happen all the time and some times happens when I shift into
second gear. I just replaced my fuel injectors but that didn't seem to make
any difference. Any suggestions as to what might be the cause of my
problem? Please email me at rgttech@yahoo.com

This has all been done with in the past 30 days along with water pump and timing belt.
