Should I buy a 2000 Mustang convertible that has barely been used?
Someone in my town is selling a 2000 Mustang convertible with only 36k
miles on it. He's selling it for $4900. I drove it and the car drives without any
problem and looks really clean and surprisingly new for a 20 year old car.
Said it was owned by an older gentleman who would put the top down and
cruise around a bit on the weekends, which is why it has such few miles. I
checked the autocheck report and the vehicle history is totally clean, just
spotless. I am planning to have a mechanic check the car out for me and tell
me whether it has any underlying problems and if it's a good buy. Should I go
If you like it, Go for it. Just change the fluids and filters, check the brakes and swap out the tires and have fun with it. My bet it will come back clean from the mechanic.
