Can a car use a different rim level other than the original?

Asked by Tony Sep 11, 2017 at 10:00 PM about the 2001 INFINITI G20 Luxury FWD

Question type: Car Customization

I have an Infiniti G20. The standard wheels came
with it are 15in, I would like to use black rims but
all of them have bigger size (17-19 in).

Yes you can. Use lower profile tires to keep the overall diameter close to the stock tire size. Use an online tire calculator to pick the correct size. You can also go 10 to 20mm wider.

Interesting. One thing they don't cover is how this stuff holds up to tire machines.
