Check engine light on? Have you checked fuses and relays? Done a test on starter? Wires going to starter tight and been load tested for resistance? Crank sensor been tested? There are more possibilities but here is a few common for a 5 year old vehicle. How do you know battery is good? Load test it with a voltmeter. Just because it is showing 12 volts does not equal a good battery.

I have a 2011 Infiniti G37x , I went to the store came home & tried to drive the car two days later & there was water on the passenger side floor . It also wouldn’t start . It just gets stuck on the the on position but the car doesn’t start & hitting the start button it’s doesn’t go back to the off position unless you disconnect the battery . When the car is off It flashes the security indicator light even with the key in the slot . I changed the battery & brought a new positive battery post , still won’t start . Please help me with a solution if you can , I take care of my car , it has to be something minor like a rest or fuse change or something .
